| All parents/guardians are invited to our Annual General Meeting, which will be held while the youngsters are doing scouty activities. Once the (short) meeting is over, you can go and watch what they are doing, and then join us for our barbecue. Free food! We do make sure the Beavers get their food first, and there is no need to feel you have to stay late - if they need their beds, you're free to take them home when you need to! |

| Following the unfortunate cancellation of our Family Camp in May, we hope to have a better result for our September camp. This is traditionally known as the Water Weekend, but we'll try to include elements of Family Camp as well. | This Sunday the Methodist church will be celebrating Harvest Festival which will include church parade for Scouts and Guides. All are welcome, please arrive at the Church Hall (where we normally meet) at 10:15 in full-uniform. This year the church are collecting donations for the Dunstable Food Bank who have particularly asked for donations of: UHT Milk, Long life fruit juice, Sponge Puddings, Tins of fruit and vegetables, Rice pudding, Instant mash |

| A coffee 'morning' - though this time we're running it a bit later - to raise some funds, and also the visibility of the Scout Group in the town. Contributions of things to eat, and helping hands on the day, will be very welcome. Please see the attached letter for full details. | |||||

| We call it an annual jumble sale, but of course it hasn't happened for two years during Covid. Hopefully it will happen this year, and we can raise some useful funds for the Scout Group. Please offer what help you can - we need a lot! | |||||
