Event Report

This evening was our main collection evening for the Jumble Sale, when the Scouts were out calling door to door to see what people had found for us.

We had an excellent turnout of scouts - 20 I think - and I think they all enjoyed themselves. As someone said "we knock on doors and people give us stuff - what's not to like?".

I think we have collected a little less than in recent years - perhaps people are feeling the pinch, and can't afford to get rid of things like they used to?

The next big deal is Friday night when we have to shift it all again and sort it all out!
